Oxfam Australia will carefully ensure your donation relieves those in need. For example:
- $20 will provide a nutritious meal for ten Aids orphans in South Africa to keep them healthy
- $40 can provide women in India with a loan to start their own business to earn a living to support their family
- $100 can pay for the cultivation of an organic rice paddy in Sri Lanka to feed a family for six months
- $150 can pay a month's salary for a South African peer educator to educate communities about HIV and AIDS
- $200 can provide training for doctors to better understand Indigenous Australian health issues
