Corporate + Creative + Personal
C2 has added more tools to their arsenal. Recently C2 purchased two XDCAM EX Series cameras. What this means for you is that your wedding video is going to be of higher quality.
The data rate of the cameras is much higher than that of other HD cameras, and this means that C2 is now filming in FULL HD.
But not only that, C2 has also purchased the new Canon 5D MKII camera.
Traditionally used as a still camera, C2 is the first videography company in Australia to use the technology for video. And the results are breathtaking. The depth of field is such that C2 is now able to capture truly film-like moving images of your wedding day.
So, while you get a beautiful film-like wedding video, the boys at C2 get some new toys to play with.
Australia’s largest bridal magazine, Real Weddings, has recently overhauled its website. Along with the relaunch, Real Weddings founder Kirsten MacKelden has created Real Weddings TV.
Each day for subscribers a new video, featuring exclusive tips for brides from Kirsten, will appear on the site.
C2 has been working hard with Kirsten to create all of this exciting video content, and are thrilled with the results. The website really looks like nothing else on the internet, and is testament to C2 and Real Wedding’s determination to keep innovating, while still delivering pristine quality products.
So, check out the new look Real Weddings website, and see what Kirsten has to say.
C2 would like to thank Kirsten and the team at Real Weddings for this amazing opportunity.

Deciding that parodying Anne Geddes style photography for last year’s Christmas Card wasn’t enough, this year the boys at C2 decided to frock-up!
With Marcus as a blushing-bride, and Jared, Frank, Liam and Jacob as his bridesmaids, the guys took to their dresses and make-up with enthusiasm.
Photographer Andrew Maccoll kindly offered his services and expert talents to this worthy cause, and the result is a beautifully photographed (albeit, unconventional) Christmas card.
It will be hard to top next year!
Check out the behind-the-scenes video to see the boys getting into the festive spirit.
It’s been a hectic few months at C2, hence the lack of an update.
Marcus, upon returning from overseas, dragged the boys along with him to their new studio in Albert Park. The versatile space has improved productivity, and is stationed mere meters from the beach - quite a change from Collingwood!
And, importantly, it allows Marcus to spend more time at home with his wife and daughter.
While the location of the business has changed, the business itself hasn’t, still providing the cutting edge films and the personal touch that has made C2 so popular with Australia.
So come by, check out the new studio, and celebrate the new stage in C2’s life.
As is often the case with the fashion industry, things tend to happen last minute. Grab Denim, one of Australia's leading men's and women denim labels contacted us to put together a short video showcasing their women's winter 2010 range.
With only a day before deadline, our Corporate Video expert, Jared, developed a brief with the client and set about creating a video from nothing more then some images and buzz words. The result? A short and direct promo video that captured people's attention. The Grab team loved it and it was played at their winter launch party to much avail.

Brent De Boer, drummer and vocalist for internationally acclaimed US rock band the Dandy Warhols, recently tied the knot with his fiancé Sarah. C2 was on hand to observe and record their special day.
Brent, along with family and band mates, trekked from the City of Roses, Portland, Oregon, to Melbourne for the occasion.
One of our top videographers Jared made the trip to the beautiful Limerick Lane to capture the event, working alongside photographer Lucy Best. Melbourne's usually unpredictable weather relented for the day, allowing the venue's (not to mention the couple's) natural beauty to be highlighted.
Our production team back in the studio of Marcus, Jared and Liam ensured the final product was truly world-class.
Recently Playboy, in association with Bras N Things, launched their new Bunny Bra range and lingerie line, with a catwalk parade.
C2 was contacted by Playboy to assist in capturing the event for the Playboy International community, which will be processed by the US branch of the conglomerate.
Playboy model Alison Waite was on hand to help promote the new line of underwear, assisted by some of Victorias finest young models to display the outfits. With an audience of industry professionals and public spectators, the gala spectacular was a rousing success.
The team at C2 would like to thank Playboy and Bras N Things for this opportunity, and special thanks to our wives for permission to capture the event.
As our business expands, so too must our resources...
To keep ahead of the industry curve, C2 recently aquired a Steadicam 'Merlin' and a Letus 35 Extreme (35mm adaptor). This new equipment means we can now deliver an even greater quality of product to our customers, enchancing the standard of footage and ensuring it a film-like calibre.
The Steadicam 'Merlin' is a handheld camera mount that allows for fluid movement and removes camera shake; useful for shooting ceremony and locations. The 'Merlin' is revolutionary because ts small size allows us to be intimate, yet unobtrusive.
The Letus 35 Extreme gives our images a greater depth of field and sharpness, letting us capture your wedding day in detail not possible on any other format.
