Andrew had one expression all day. When you see, you'll know what I mean.
When I arrived at Emma's home, I felt as if I was one of the family. I was offered cold meats with spreads, good wine and even spirits. It was an absolute treat to be around such a warm and embracing family.
The priest commented that it was to be the first wedding held here in fifteen years. The parish being a tiny structure located in the grounds of a primary school. The reason for the marriage here? Both attended this very primary school together all those years ago.
Again, working with David Fowler adds so much more fun to the day. Emma and Andrew stayed relaxed while enjoying the fantastic Williamstown landscape for location photos.
We finished the night at Lincoln Of Toorak where I enjoyed two courses of everything.
From the moment we met Brendan + Kate we just knew that shooting their wedding would be an absolute pleasure. These guys didn't let anything get in the way of the true reason behind their day: To get married and enjoy it with their family + friends.
Out of all the weddings we do, very rarely do we see a father have the privilege of driving their daughter in their own very special car. Today was one of those days. As soon as I arrived at Kate's I saw the beautiful classic Vauxhall ribboned and ready to take Kate to the ceremony.
Due to the weather our planned outdoor ceremony at Yarra Valley Ranges was moved indoors, but naturally went ahead without a hitch. Kate and Brendan had way too much spirit for anything to put a dampener on their day!
After a great ceremony we were lucky enough to get a break in the rain (maybe even a hint of sunlight too) for some quick and fun photos amongst the vines. After heading back inside for the reception everyone partied well on into the night! What a great time!
I arrived to find a flurry of activity at White Rose Cottage. Elizabeth moving from room to room, her bridesmaids in toe, making sure all was right and well with the world.
Jure our groom was nervous as to be expected and his face just lit up as Elizabeth made her way down the isle. After an exchange of vows and a beautiful acoustic song from a close family friend, we made our way out to the vineyard to catch the last dying rays of light.
'Love Katie and Sarah' made the most of Stones dusk landscape, creating some very beautiful and natural compositions with our couple.
We ended the night with the bridal waltz, Jures certainly knew how to whisk his bride of her feet, and for a man of his stature he was surprisingly very light on his.
